Voip is ok…it requires internet and the quality really isnt all that great. using a application or service such as call global is better quality and even less expensive!
can not get skype to work on my 2g iphone to make phone calls. I signed up for the 2.95 unlimited option. It shouldnt cost anymore than what I pay from my computer since it is using the SAME wifi connection. I can’t seem to find any accurate information and iphone support from skype is ZERO. Im guessing they also expect you to also buy credits and pay by the minute. Totally rediculous.

yeah i know this video is a little old, but I need to know CAN YOU RECEIVE CALLS? If you subscribe to skype. there’s an option that you get an actual phone number right? so if people call you can you use that on the fring on the ipod touch?

yes you will use your plan minutes when you use the celluar option and about the skype dissconnecting have you signed out of skype on your computer and make sure you dial your numbers in this format 001 111 222 3333 put 0 were there should be blanks hope this helps
I have a question, If you use Fring to call and have wi-fi is it still charging you or not? there are 3 options when u dial, SIP CELLULAR and SKYPE OUT. SO if i use Cellular, am i getting charged ? and i used skype and when i dial a number it disconnects and yes i do have an active account with Unlimited to Canada and the US. Can you tell me whats the problem. THank you
